Downtown Pet Supply – Universal Bird Cage Cover – Bird Cage Accessories – Breathable & Machine Washable Fabric, Blocks Light – Large Bird Cage Cover with 2 Top Handles – 55 x 63 x 69in
Amazon.com Price: $47.99 (as of 02/01/2024 14:36 PST- Details)
The Downtown Pet Supply universal bird cage cover is the perfect solution for bird owners dealing with restless sleep schedules and poor-fitting covers. Measuring 55 x 63 x 69 inches, it blocks light effectively, allows airflow through breathable fabric, and washes easily in your machine. Two top handles make daily use simple, even on tall cages. Available on Amazon.
If your bird wakes you up at dawn or refuses to settle at night, you need a reliable solution that actually blocks light and creates a calm sleeping environment. The Downtown Pet Supply universal bird cage cover is the perfect fix for restless birds and frustrated owners who have tried thin, ill-fitting covers that let in too much light or trap heat inside the cage. This large cover measures 55 x 63 x 69 inches, making it one of the most generous sizing options available for bigger enclosures like macaw cages, large parrot setups, or multi-bird aviaries.
What sets this Downtown Pet Supply cage cover apart from cheaper alternatives is its breathable fabric construction. Many covers on the market use heavy, non-ventilated material that restricts airflow and leaves your bird overheated and stressed. This cover is designed to let air circulate freely while still blocking enough light to trigger your bird’s natural sleep cycle. It is also fully machine washable, so keeping it clean after months of use takes minutes rather than a trip to the dry cleaner. The two top handles make removal and repositioning effortless, even if your cage sits on a tall stand.
- Blocks light effectively to help regulate your bird’s sleep schedule and reduce early-morning noise and stress-related behaviors.
- Breathable fabric keeps air flowing through the cover so your bird stays comfortable and does not overheat during warmer months.
- Machine washable design means you can toss it in the wash regularly to remove dust, dander, and debris without any hassle.
- Generous 55 x 63 x 69-inch dimensions accommodate large and extra-large cages, including floor-standing aviaries and wide parrot enclosures.
- Two built-in top handles give you a firm, secure grip when lifting or adjusting the cover in low-light conditions.
- Universal fit design works across a wide range of cage shapes, so you do not need a custom-made cover for each enclosure you own.
This downtown pet supply cover is best suited for bird owners with large parrots, macaws, cockatoos, or multiple birds sharing one sizable cage. It is especially useful if your sleep schedule does not align with your bird’s natural light-triggered wake time, or if you live in a home with lots of natural morning light. If you have struggled with covers that slip off, trap heat, or wear out after a few washes, this is a practical upgrade worth considering.
